One of the summer highlights in this part of Wisconsin is coming soon on Saturday, July 29th. What I’m talking about is the 20th Annual Take an Adult Fishing Tournament which will take off from the stage and parking lot in front of the Wilderness Fish and Game store in Sauk City at 6:00 am. “The purpose of this event is to provide a fun activity that promotes healthy lifestyles. For that reason, there is to be no smoking or drinking of alcohol during the event.”

Use a separate registration form for each team which maybe picked up at the Wilderness store. A team must consist of a adult and at least one child under the age of 16. The event will be held rain or shine. There also is a mandatory meeting you must attend on the morning of the tournament, July 29, at 6:00 am. The form may be brought by the store at 532 Water Street Sauk City, Wi. 53583 or emailed to tom@wildernessfishgame.com. Teams may fish anywhere that they please as long as the return by the 2:00 pm check in. we usually have 80-100 teams and a large crowd cheering their children on!

Teams may enter more than I category. All fish are weighted on a digital commercial certified scale. The great prizes are awarded to 1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place in each category.
