"Nice park. One day isn't enough time to see everything the park has, so plan on it taking 2 or 3 days to really explore the park. There are some challenging trails that require you to be physically fit along with easy trails that anyone should be able to handle. The balanced rock it not very well marked the park authorities could do a better job there. Its very easy to walk right past it and not even know it was there, and it is not an easy climb to get to it either. So watch carefully for it so as not to miss it. The lake itself is beautiful has a big beach and is a lake I would actually swim in which is saying something because normally I will only swim in pools, the water is very clear and clean looking."

"What a hike. It was a lot of fun. There were very few people out here when we went. There were so many good views for picture taking I had some close calls with slippery rocks on some of the cliffs. Definitely remember to bring good shoes. To make our hike even more interesting, it started to get super foggy and the sun started going down. We were kind of winging it and weren't sure how much trail was left but we kept on pushing and we made it. I find all the issues that come up make the adventure more interesting and memorable. I definitely enjoyed this park."

"A very popular state park in Wisconsin. It has good trails, a nice lake, very old rock formations, campgrounds, Indian burial mounds, and interesting rock structures. The staff are helpful and printed guides are available for free. But I did not find the markers along trails helpful. I found it hard to locate the Devil's Doorway and gave up after a few tries. Probably it was just me. But the location is relaxing and is a good getaway during summer."

"Great camping spot. We have enjoyed our family visits here and plan to return every summer. The lake is centrally locates and boat/kayak rentals are available at the beach. Fishing is best further out along the rock outcropping. Hiking opportunities are ample and a variety of challenge levels are available."

"Love the hiking and the lake, as does my dog. There are trails for many skill levels and the picnic areas are really nice. Being local I recommend never going on a weekend in the summer but if you do, get there very early. The north shore has softer sand in the water for the beach area, so it is much more popular, but if you have older kids or are teen or up yourself, go to the south shore there is almost no sand under the water as it is much more rocky so if you can handle it, do it you won't have as many people crammed next to you."
