"Beautiful area! Just be mindful of ticks, there are some here. The view is worth seeing, and isn't terribly far from the parking lot."

"We came here because many locals have been telling us how beautiful this place truly is. They were telling the truth. And it is free to the public..... Pictures don't do this place justice! There are trails to hike on that vary in difficulty levels. I will say you must be in good health and physical condition to come here. Trails have several stumps exposed and tree roots. There are cliffs and rock edges were people can fall and get hurt. I would reccomend you bring water shoes if you plan on swimming or walking down in the water. I highly reccomend any young children have life vests on. There was several deep spots. Beautiful place.... we are glad we came and both said we will be planning another trip back soon. Make sure to pack water on a hot day!"

"Read about this online. It definitely didn't disappoint. It's a shame that some folks have gotten a little stupid with the jumping. The main gorge by the waterfall looks pretty safe for jumping from the lower ledge. But people just have to get higher and higher for the rush. Not sure if it's still legal to jump from the lower ledge. That seems relatively simple. It's the crazies jumping from 40ft up that are scary."

"Beautiful nature reserve. I loved going when it used to be a hidden gem, seems to be more tourists than anything now, but that doesn't change the beauty of this location. Parking is limited, be aware of that."

"WARNING!! Cliff jumping, bringing in food/beverage, climbing on the rocks, or being in the newly-posted closed area will bring you a hefty fine of $175.00. Pewit's Nest is now CLOSED for cliff jumping. Still open for enjoying the scenic beauty."
