"Been camping here since I was VERY young. Has changed a lot. Can have good weekends with not a lot of night noise or is well enforced. Or rowdy weekends where not enforced. The "security" guy is an asshat. "

"One of the best campgrounds we've been to yet! Friendly staff, clean, and so much to do the kids didn't know where to start! The only thing I found a bit shallow is that with so much there to do, they make you pay extra for a "VIP" wristband to use the jumping pillow, pedal carts, and space jam basketball. For the price of the nightly reservation this should all be included. The space jam and pedal carts are located right in the same area as the dunk tank... And the dunk tank doesn't need the VIP band. The jumping pillow located right within the playground, skate park, and basketball.... Yet those don't need the VIP band. It just seems asinine to pick out those few, random things to not be included.... Even though they're mixed in with all the other activities. "

"There is a door mat to the camp store that reads "it's all about the stuff" and this is certainly true about Merry Mac. It has a drunk tank, giant sized versions of board games all over, playground, and a swim pond filled with fun inflatable slides; all this included with your lodging. For $10/person you can get a wristband that gives you access to "space ball", a jumping pillow, and mini-golf. There is also an arcade which is pay to play. Lots of "stuff". The kids loved it for a day. The camp is very well kept. Most sites are in the woods and feel like a state Park. The camp store provides free WiFi, but only at/near the store. The cons: the biggest con is that swim pond with the fun inflatables. While lots of fun it is also chemical green; like the color you see in treated toilets; kind of smells like that chemical too. You can't see your feet when you are in it, it's that cloudy. On Tuesday morn a small motor boat with two guys in face masks ride through the pond spraying something into it; I assume whatever chemical they use to treat the pond. For a better swim experience head to nearby Devils Lake: gorgeous and the beach is shallow and clear. Another con is the lack of bathrooms. There is only one bath house throughout the camp. The rest of the camp is serviced by porta potties. "
