"This is a beautiful state park! The camp ground is has lots of facilities, is close to hiking, and also close to the gorgeous beach with a playground. Picnic tables and grills are in the park. The waking trails aren't as well marked as some other state parks, so bring the map with you! There is a boat launch if you have your own boat, and rentals if you don't. "

"Good state park although you don't have all the hookups. Beautiful scenery and close to tourist stuff. We spent the day at Frank Lloyd Wright property and house on the rock which is just about an hour away. Highly recommended. "

"Very family and pet friendly, lots of privacy despite being next to the bathroom and parking. Excellent beach! Will return for sure! Only thing I would add is that there is one lone picnic table in the pet area, and you can't see the beach well from there. Since I was the only adult with a dog and two nine year olds who were obsessed with the beach this was a challenge. Perhaps consider expanding the pet area or adding more seating (the picnic tables are heavy and not easy to move if you have no help)."

"Beautiful! Calm and clean. The tent pads are on same, so no root or rock up your butt. Get ready to canoe. The river looks like a lot of fun. "

"Great trails for hiking. The camping area looks nice and some sites looked like they offer a reasonable amount of privacy."
