1:00pm - 2:00pm

Just Announced! Marge Gibson of Raptor Education Group Inc. will be releasing “up to 3 eagles” back into the wild during Bald Eagle Watching Days 2019 in Sauk Prairie, Wisconsin, including one “magnificent” adult eagle. The rehabilitated bald eagle release is scheduled at 1pm along the Wisconsin River at the VFW Memorial Park in Prairie du Sac on Saturday, January 19, 2019. There will be shuttle buses leaving from the River Arts Center 105 9th Street Prairie du Sac WI 53578 at noon to shuttle folks to the release. If you will be driving to the event, consider parking on a side street and walking to the park as this is a very popular event and there can be vehicle congestion.

Come hungry as Wood BBQ will be serving 11am-2pm from the food truck at the VFW Park. The menu will include warm BBQ sandwiches, sides, and plenty of hot chocolate to keep you warm. A portion of their sales will be donated to Ferry Bluff Eagle Council!
